Snippets of my life

Blast from the Past:
My friend David Skeat from way long ago in Australia came to the States and we were able to hang out for a couple hours in Vegas! Loved it!

Life at YWAM

Here you see Peter cleaning the exhaust in the kitchen. Recently we had a base cleaning day and Peter, Stacy and me were in the same cleaning group and tackled the kitchen with great success.

Peter was with us for 3 months cooking for the DTS and Mission Adventures and has just recently returned to Canada. It was amazing to have someone oversee the kitchen! What a blessing.

Our DTS of 5 students will be going on Outreach soon with Stacy and Andrea leading the group, while Joshua and Andrew stay back and organise the September DTS.

Mission Adventures also had a busy spring break with training about 150 students in Evangelism. We are praying for 600 students total this year!

Life with friends:
My friend Leona (middle) and her husband Jeff took me on a trip to Colorado Springs for my birthday. It was awesome to hang out with friends and family, see an amazing Easter play and just relax.

While in Colorado Springs I was also able to reconnect with my friend Helen (left) who's gearing up to staff a DTS outreach to Africa in a few weeks.

Life at Church:
This would be a picture of Tony, our youth leader at Junior High. When I took the picture it was 4:35am.
Why do I have a picture of Tony at that hour? Well, it's because of INSOMNIA.
Insomnia is an all night event for Junior High Students. We go to Adventuredome, Ice skating, jumping all over trampolines and shoot people with paintball at some really early hour in the morning.
I love Insomnia, because you get to hang out with students all night, talk and introduce them to Jesus in a very different way.
This year we took over 500 Junior High Students and Leaders on the all nighter! (For whatever reason I couldn't turn the picture. And then I decided it was funny)

Life with Friends:
One day, when you and me hang out, we will have to play UNO 'brazilian rules'. It's so much fun and sometimes even a little painful!
