New York City in under 2 days...

Last weekend I went to New York City! I so love cities and I have always wanted to go and check it out. And NY is everything I dreamed about...

Kimberly and me only had a weekend, so we got to NY in the afternoon on Saturday and left Monday morning. But we saw everything. Below are the pictures of our crazy trip to NY!!!

By Sunday night we'd even had a chance to go on the Empire State Building! It's totally worth it, although I reckon the perfect time to go up would be around 4ish in the afternoon. That way you get day time and night time!

John and Ji Hee (she did her DTS in Vegas in 2005) are amazing! They took us to have Korean food and then to the Empire State Building. Altho they didn't go up! I know exactly how they feel! I get 'stripped out' too and hardly ever go to the strip anymore!

We had amazing Korean food. Soft Tofu, Korean BBQ (which is basically a VERY amazing lettuce wrap) and a mix of 26 very tiny sliced vegetables. I loved it! And it's quite fun to eat as well! Koreans have a lot of side dishes/condiments, so I was practically in heaven! I love condiments!

John and Ji Hee! These guys are getting married in 2 weeks!!!! And they still were able to carve some time out for us to hang out! yay them!

I also saw a couple friends if mine who had moved to NY just a few weeks ago! Kyle and Viktoriya are amazing, altho in this photo I seem to be the only one being excited! LOL

Subway moments! This cracked me up so bad! and I am so lucky that I got away with taking this picture! it definitely took some skill!

Little Italy! And we also had amazing Italian food! I think that day we managed to eat at 2 ZAGAT restaurants! Apparently that's pretty amazing!

Parking in NY seems to be a bit of a problem!

The bull at wall street! And yes, you can thank me later for only taking pictures from the front! This bull has quite the details in the back! Yikes!

Oh, I so wanted a pic with an NYPD person and I got one! But this one is even better, as I got one standing next to the army recruiting center with an Uncle Sam's poster... it's funny, coz it's not like Uncle Sam really wants me!

Love NY!!! Love love love

Ellis Island. Where all the foreigners came through a hundred years ago.... No, I did not feel right at home! :)

The Statue of Liberty up close

And further out

Another Time Square moment with Kimberly! It was SOOOOO much fun! There were lawn chairs everywhere for people to sit and hang out! What a great idea, even tho we never found an open one!
At Time Square there is also a THREE storey Walgreens!!!! Amazing!

Chrysler Building in the background, very close to Grand Central Station! This is such a great city! I wanted to stay in this area! offer me a job and I will go there! So cool!

This is Grand Central Station (or Terminal, which is the official term). I think this was the moment I realised I was really in New York!
